The person in this role will be responsible for the growth of DesignRush products, including research, estimation, and implementation of necessary development tasks.

DesignRush is seeking to make IMMEDIATE hires.
Responsibilities:
- Development of a web application leveraging PHP 8 (Laravel), queues, Redis, MySQL, JavaScript (Vue.js), Docker, and GitLab;
- Collaboration with the development team to analyse and evaluate new features, change requests, and possible enhancements;
- Troubleshooting of issues on the production and staging environments;
- Performing code reviews to identify and eliminate systematic issues.
- Improve processes and workflow automation using AI tools and agents
Requirements:
- 5+ years in developing on PHP (Laravel), JavaScript (Vue.js), MySQL;
- Deep understanding of OOP fundamentals and Laravel core concepts;
- Experience with creating and/or integrating API services;
- Experience with the following tools and technologies: Docker, Git, Redis;
- Experience with testing frameworks (PHPUnit) and debugging tools (Xdebug);
- Good written and spoken English (Intermediate and higher);
- Is self-organizing and takes initiative to resolve open issues
- Applies an analytical yet pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Demonstrates willingness to learn new technologies and tools
- Proactively improves the product and shares insights with the team
- Effectively prioritizes tasks and independently manages workload, while seeking help when needed
Nice-to-Have / Plus Skills
- Fluency across multiple front-end technologies and JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of AI tools, AI agents, and AI-driven workflows for development.
- Experience optimizing the performance and security of web applications.
- Familiarity with modern development environments such as Cursor, Windsurf, or similar next-gen IDEs.
