Responsibilities include exercising discretion, leading an agile team, defining feature scope, writing user stories, maintaining credibility with partners, breaking down complex problems, tracking progress, running research, and solving product challenges. Expectations: Week – onboard, learn product suite; Month – organize roadmap, collaborate with dev team, takeover initiatives; Three months – support product category, launch features, own a development team, measure success, improve processes; Six months – drive mobile/desktop delivery, discover opportunities, refine roadmap; Year – deliver roadmap, build impactful products, scale team. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, 5+ years of software product management experience, proven ability to lead end‑to‑end product, knowledge of AI product development, experience with third‑party integrations, SQL/spreadsheet analysis, data‑driven decision making, wireframe/mockup creation, meticulous quality standards, humility, agile experience with global teams, strong communication skills, empowerment to lead, fast‑paced adaptability, world‑class individual contributor.

The role is remote, requires no visa sponsorship, and communication is in English.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline

Experience

5+ years of proven software product management experience
Experience leading products end‑to‑end from discovery to launch

Skills

Knowledge of AI product development processes
Experience with third‑party system integrations
Comfortable working with SQL or spreadsheets to analyze data and conduct research
Strong expertise in using data to make decisions with various tools
Creative data‑driven solution crafting
Ability to build wireframes and mockups

Responsibilities

Exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Own and lead all aspects of an established agile team, including backlog grooming, triage, and prioritization, and cross‑functional coordination.
Define the scope of new product features and ongoing improvements across web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Write and prioritize user stories and define acceptance criteria.
Establish and maintain a high level of credibility with internal and external partners.
Break down complex problems and use data and analytics, combined with high‑quality user research, to inform product direction.
Track progress, assess risks, coordinate delivery, and actively communicate contingency and mitigation plans for the team.
Run various ad‑hoc research and business analyses to assess opportunities and risks.
Take ownership of identifying and solving complex product challenges that align with both short‑term goals and long‑term strategic initiatives.
Apply system‑analyst techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or systems functional specifications.
Onboard and integrate into Toptal while independently studying the product suite.
Become acquainted with product area, goals, and partners.
Work cross‑functionally with Designers, Engineers and senior stakeholders to prioritize roadmap and backlog.
Start collaborating closely with development team.
Take over all in‑flight and planned initiatives.
Fully support a product category, work collaboratively to complete quarterly planning and set OKRs.
Launch features that deliver high business impact.
Be fully embedded into and own a development team.
Monitor and measure success against company goals.
Continuously improve team processes through meaningful contributions.
Drive end‑to‑end delivery of mobile and desktop apps, ensuring feature parity and high‑quality UX.
Independently discover new product opportunities for the backlog.
Develop a repeatable model for delivering roadmap initiatives.
Measure and refine roadmap, backlog, and processes across Product team.
Constantly re‑evaluate roadmap alignment with strategic business goals.
Deliver roadmap priorities and promises.
Ensure team builds impactful products in a timely and elegant fashion.
