Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer (Full-Stack & Back-End) na Hubstaff

We’re hiring 2 Senior Rails Full-Stack Developers and 1 Senior Rails Back-End Developer to join our engineering team. The role is full-time (40 hrs/week), remote, and involves designing, building, and maintaining new services and features using Ruby on Rails. Responsibilities include collaborating with Engineering Manager and frontend team, architecting scalable systems, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, implementing background job processing with Sidekiq and Redis, writing automated tests with RSpec and Jest, building and integrating front-end frameworks for full-stack roles, participating in code reviews, documentation, and team planning sessions, and balancing technical excellence with timely delivery. The position requires deep expertise with Ruby on Rails, 7+ years professional development experience, strong database skills with PostgreSQL or MySQL, experience with background job frameworks (Sidekiq, Resque), solid understanding of modern architectural patterns, working knowledge of modern JavaScript (React or Vue), experience working asynchronously in fully remote teams, and a history of multi-year tenure in recent roles.
