Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Financial or analytical rigor with a deep interest in AI products, technology, and broader industry ecosystem
- Strong quantitative skills and comfortable building and maintaining models and dashboards
- Proficiency in SQL or other data tools used for market analysis
- Strong bias toward action and comfortable operating with incomplete information in a fast‑moving environment
- Skill in synthesizing information from disparate sources and communicating it clearly to a range of audiences
- Enjoyment of the research process, tracking down information, triangulating sources, building a coherent picture from fragmented data points
- Passion for Anthropic’s mission to build safe, transformative AI systems
- 5+ years experience in strategic finance, consulting, equity research, product management, market intelligence, or a related analytical role
- Experience in equity research, investment analysis, or similar roles covering technology or infrastructure companies
- Background that combines technical or product work with finance or consulting
- Familiarity with consumption‑based business models
- Experience conducting primary research through expert networks, surveys, or user interviews
- Existing network or deep familiarity with the AI ecosystem’s key players, investors, and dynamics
