1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Trab ("we", "our", or "the platform"), available at trab.app, collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data.

By using the site, creating an account, submitting your resume, analyzing job postings, or installing the Trab Chrome extension, you agree to the practices described in this document, in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Law No. 13.709/2018).

2. Data controller

The controller of personal data processed by Trab is Laurentino Company LTDA, CNPJ 56.660.224/0001-84, operator of the trab.app service.

3. Data we collect

Account and authentication: when you sign in with Google, we receive identifiers and basic profile information provided by the provider (such as name, email, and photo), according to your login permissions.

Profile and resume: data you provide or upload on the platform, including experience, education, skills, professional summary, links, and structured content extracted from your resume. The uploaded PDF file is not kept after extraction.

Jobs and analyses: job URLs, pasted descriptions, data extracted from job pages, ATS compatibility reports, generated suggestions, and analysis history linked to your account.

Payments: when you purchase credits, we process transaction information through our payment provider (status, identifiers, and amounts). We do not store full card details on our servers.

Site usage: technical logs, IP address, browser type, pages visited, and usage events for security, diagnostics, and product improvement.

Communications: transactional emails sent about your account, purchases, or use of the service.

4. Trab Chrome extension

The extension is an optional add-on to the service. It does not collect data on its own or monitor your browsing in the background.

When you click the extension icon, we only read the active tab URL to open trab.app/new?url= and start the resume optimization flow for that job.

The extension does not read third-party page content, inject scripts into job sites, or access your browsing history.

After opening Trab, data processing follows the same rules in this policy that apply to the site and your account.

5. How we use your data

Provide the service: extract, structure, and analyze resumes and jobs; generate reports, scores, and improvement suggestions.

Personalize your experience: maintain your profile, saved jobs, analysis history, and preferences.

Process payments and usage credits.

Send essential communications about account, security, and transactions.

Ensure security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Improve the product with aggregated metrics and usage analysis.

6. Legal bases (LGPD)

Contract performance: to deliver the features you request on the platform.

Consent: when applicable, for example at login or when accepting specific communications.

Legitimate interest: security, service improvement, and fraud prevention, always balanced against your rights.

Legal obligation: when required by law or a competent authority.

7. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal data.

We share data only with providers necessary to operate the service, under appropriate contracts and controls, including:

authentication (Google), infrastructure and hosting (Cloudflare), database and storage, AI processing for analyses, transactional email, payments, and analytics tools.

These partners process data according to our instructions and their own privacy policies, limited to what is necessary for the contracted purpose.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, security, and integrity of the platform and users.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

The uploaded resume PDF is deleted once content extraction is complete. We only keep structured data necessary for your profile and analyses.

You may request correction, export, or deletion of data by contacting us, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.

9. Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access control, and infrastructure monitoring.

No system is 100% secure. If a relevant incident affects your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

10. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and usage measurement (for example, Google Analytics).

You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Disabling them may affect parts of the service.

11. Your rights

Under the LGPD, you may request: confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent, when applicable.

Send requests to suporte@trab.app. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe as required by law.

12. Minors

Trab may be used by people under 18, including candidates for apprenticeship, internship, or first-job positions.

When required by applicable law, processing minors' data depends on consent from at least one parent or legal guardian.

If we identify collection of minors' data in violation of the law or without required authorization, we will take steps to correct or delete that information.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. The date of the last revision will be shown below. Material changes may be communicated on the site or by email.
