Anthropic’s Applied AI team is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) based in Paris. The FDE will collaborate directly with strategic customers to deploy advanced AI solutions, build production applications using Claude models, and provide end‑to‑end deployment support. Candidates will bring 4+ years of client‑facing technical experience, expertise in LLM production, and strong programming skills in Python (with additional languages such as TypeScript or Java). The role involves frequent travel to client sites, deep engagement with customers, and the opportunity to shape Anthropic’s enterprise AI strategy.

Requisitos

Habilidades

  • 4+ years of experience in a technical client‑facing role (e.g., Advanced Deployment Engineer or Software Engineer with consulting experience)
  • Experience in production with LLMs, including prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and large‑scale deployment
  • Strong programming skills with mastery of Python and ideally one or more additional languages such as TypeScript, Java, etc.
  • Experience with enterprise IT systems and/or AI deployment models is a plus
  • Experience in financial services, healthcare/life sciences, or other sectors is an asset
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders

Responsabilidades

  • Work within customer systems to build production applications with Claude models, ensuring that these products meet customer requirements.
  • Deliver technical artifacts for customers such as MCP servers, sub‑agents, and agent skills used in production workflows.
  • Provide white glove deployment support for Anthropic products in enterprise environments.
  • Identify and codify repeatable deployment patterns and provide insights to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the latest developments in LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI product development stacks.
  • Build long‑term relationships with clients and proactively identify new AI deployment opportunities throughout the engagement lifecycle.
  • Travel frequently (25–50%) to client sites to establish personal relationships.
  • Act as a champion of Anthropic's mission on the ground.
