Requirements

Skills

  • 5+ years of legal experience preferred in AI, privacy, consumer protection, and content regulation law
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas succinctly
  • JD degree and bar admission or equivalent in good standing to practice law in relevant jurisdiction
  • Regulatory and in‑house experience preferred
  • Solution‑oriented, customer‑service, and growth mindset
  • Ability to integrate into cross‑functional teams with a cooperative and participatory approach
  • Experience as an in‑house adviser for consumer platforms in the social media sector, dealing with issues related to personalization and data protection

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice to SpaceXAI's product group and engineering teams focusing on AI, personalization, interests, creators, ads, and international expansion
  • Work alongside engineering teams as they build new and innovative products for SpaceXAI
  • Partner with other leaders on the Legal and Public Policy teams, exhibiting a deep understanding of how SpaceXAI products work and how their evolution is influenced by global laws
  • Help build scalable and effective processes for providing legal input to clients on strategic product initiatives
  • Work collaboratively across multiple functions, including Legal, Engineering, Safety, Policy, and Business Development
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant U.S. and international laws and regulations, especially those related to AI, privacy, intellectual property, content regulation, consumer protection, and advertising
