As a Senior Data Center Capacity Delivery Manager at Anthropic, you will embed with project teams responsible for delivering leased and partnered data center capacity, leading partners to deliver on the fastest possible schedule while maintaining safety and quality. You will validate deal readiness, coordinate complex stakeholder relationships, maintain reporting and status tracking, and ensure seamless transitions from project inception to operational readiness. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how Anthropic secures and activates the compute infrastructure needed to train and deploy frontier AI systems, working at the intersection of real estate, construction, and cutting‑edge AI infrastructure.

Requirements

Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in high-level site leadership managing data center delivery, construction projects, or infrastructure deployment at scale
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end data center development process, including entitlements, permitting, planning, supply chain, execution, commissioning, and handover
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and shape the culture, approach, and aggressiveness of extended site teams, spending 60% or more of the time on project sites
  • Develop and enhance the skillset of development partners, general contractors, and key trades, becoming a subject matter expert in data center delivery
  • Confirm deal readiness and serve as gatekeeper to validate transaction viability from Letter of Intent through lease execution
  • Partner with landlords and developers post‑deal to coordinate across internal stakeholders and track construction progress
  • Represent Anthropic in key technical and operational decisions required by partners during the development process
  • Drive seamless handoffs to operational state with heavy focus on networking and deployment teams
  • Prepare and present regular executive reporting on progress versus plan for facility development
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the delivery lifecycle, proactively addressing blockers
  • Develop and refine standardized processes and playbooks for facility delivery, driving continuous improvement as infrastructure scales
