Requirements

Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in site leadership managing data center delivery, construction projects, or infrastructure deployment at scale within Australia
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end data center development process, including entitlements, permitting, planning, supply chain, execution, commissioning, and handover
  • Understanding of data center design and construction in Australia, including contractual norms and incentive structures
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
  • Relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and influence cross‑functional data center delivery teams on multiple project sites
  • Serve as a force multiplier to develop and enhance the skillset of contractors, developers, and trades
  • Confirm deal readiness and serve as gatekeeper from Letter of Intent through lease execution
  • Partner with landlords and developers post‑deal to coordinate internal stakeholders and track construction progress
  • Represent Anthropic in key technical and operational decisions during development
  • Drive seamless handoffs to operational state, focusing on networking and deployment teams
  • Prepare and present regular executive reporting on progress versus plan for facility development
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Develop and refine standardized processes and playbooks for facility delivery
