- Minimum of 8 years practical experience as a backend or platform engineer, with some frontend experience
- Strong product sense and technical ability to tackle a wide variety of challenges
- Experience using AI tools as part of the software development process
- Product‑focused approach to platform work, building robust, scalable, and easy‑to‑use solutions
- Full ownership of work from design through build, deployment, and operations
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound technical decisions independently
