The Office of the Chief Commercial Officer is a small, cross‑functional team that works directly with the CCO, go‑to‑market leadership, and company leadership on Anthropic’s highest‑priority commercial initiatives. This internal role owns end‑to‑end workstreams, driving go‑to‑market initiatives, building analysis for executive decisions, preparing content for leadership, tracking priorities, bridging between multiple functions, and ensuring critical tasks receive timely resolution. Candidates with a strong background in management consulting, strategy, or chief‑of‑staff roles, who can structure ambiguous problems, communicate effectively with executives, and work autonomously while using AI tools are ideal.

Salary

USD 190,000 - 270,000

Requirements

Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy and operations, or a chief of staff team
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear recommendations
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, SQL, or AI tools such as Claude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for executive audiences
  • High level of autonomy with attention to detail and escalation
  • Strong trust‑building with senior leadership
  • Experience with AI tools as a core part of work
  • Alignment with Anthropic’s mission for safe, useful AI
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/training

Responsibilities

  • Drive priority go-to-market initiatives from plan to delivery, removing blockers and connecting teams
  • Build analysis, draft documents or decks, and translate cross‑team input into actionable recommendations
  • Prepare content for the CCO and leadership, including weekly staff meetings, board materials, and off‑site presentations
  • Track the go‑to‑market organization’s top priorities, status, owners, and risks
  • Act as a bridge between go‑to‑market and Product, Finance, Legal, Safeguards, and Research to align decisions with customer feedback
  • Step in on high‑priority items lacking clear ownership, run them to completion, and hand them over cleanly
  • Close out same‑day executive requests quickly and to a high standard
