- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years in an engineering management role
- Track record of building and shipping production full-stack software with a focus on usability
- Experience leading teams building and maintaining scalable internal applications and platforms
- Strong technical judgment across modern web development (React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Go) and cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Skilled at translating ambiguous user needs into clear technical direction and priorities
- Communicate with empathy and strive to build strong relationships with stakeholders and direct reports alike
- Experience building engineering roadmaps and aligning them with broader business objectives
- Track record of developing engineers through coaching, mentoring, and structured feedback
