Anthropic’s Data Center Capacity Delivery team seeks a Regional Manager for the EMEA region to own delivery across a portfolio of active and upcoming data center projects. The role involves leading a team of Senior Delivery Managers and third‑party partners, building and enforcing delivery standards, managing executive relationships with developers and general contractors, and ensuring projects meet schedule, quality, and safety milestones. The position requires extensive experience in mission‑critical construction, end‑to‑end development processes, and executive‑level stakeholder management.

Salary

GBP 1 - 1

Requirements

Skills

  • 10+ years delivering data center or other mission-critical construction, including several as the owner's or GC's senior leader on a project campus
  • Led a multi-project portfolio and built the team that delivered it
  • Know the end-to-end development process — entitlements and permitting, design, long-lead equipment, construction, commissioning, and handover — well enough to direct partners rather than take their word for it
  • Managed developer, GC, and third-party relationships at the executive level and can move them from arm's-length contract administration to shared urgency
  • Lead through presence: expect to be on site most of the time and set the pace and culture of extended teams you don't directly employ
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-specialist stakeholders and hold a position when challenged
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and owning outcomes where no process exists yet

Responsibilities

  • Lead and shape the culture, approach, and aggressiveness of the extended teams across the region's sites
  • Hire, develop, empower, and lead the Senior Delivery Managers on those sites and raise the skillset of developers, contractors, owner's‑rep partners, and key trades
  • Own portfolio execution for the region — schedule, quality, and safety outcomes on every active project, measured against early‑floor‑access and floor‑access milestones
  • Drive ownership and influence both inside and outside contractual structures: select, scope, contract, and manage owner's‑rep and project‑management partners; replace partners when performance or culture slips
  • Set and enforce delivery standards across projects — integrated schedule, quality requirements, change control, reporting, and tools — and validate that they are met
  • Identify blockers early and clear them across developer, GC, and trade layers; step in on site where a project needs it
