This role focuses on real-time detection and mitigation of cyber attacks, managing alerting systems, conducting advanced packet analysis, and providing customer support. The ideal candidate has over five years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, strong knowledge of internet protocols, OWASP Top 10, and network security techniques across layers 3–7. Responsibilities
- Respond to cyber attacks in real time
- Manage the central alerting system to detect and minimize attack impacts
- Engage in mitigation techniques to prevent different attack vectors on layers 3 and 4
- Perform real-time advanced packet analysis to identify attacks and threats to customers
- Manage and document technical issues, responses and requests to ensure information is recorded and updated
- Provide support to customers to remedy and resolve network and connectivity issues
- Communicate with customers regarding challenges and provide updates and results on mitigation and analysis
- Analyze bot traffic patterns to prevent rapidly evolving bot attacks
