Skills
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles such as Customer Success, Consulting, or Solutions Architect
- Experience supporting government customers including federal civilian, state/local, or national security organizations
- Understanding of government procurement, compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, StateRAMP, IL5
- Experience driving success across consumption-based and seat-based business models
- Technical fluency with AI/ML concepts, API integrations, and software implementation patterns
- Ability to explain and demonstrate technical products to developers, executives, and congressional staff
- Strategic mindset to identify mission transformation opportunities and translate them into actionable expansion plans
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to advocate for customer needs across internal and external stakeholders
- Passion for AI and interest in responsible development of advanced systems for public benefit
- Enthusiastic 'roll up your sleeves' mentality and teamwork
- Preferred: Active or ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance for National Security accounts
Responsibilities
- Build trusting, strategic relationships with government stakeholders to understand objectives and identify opportunities
- Become an expert in Anthropic's products across API, Claude for Government, and Claude Code, understanding technical nuances, compliance requirements, and best practices
- Monitor usage patterns and proactively drive adoption, identifying optimization opportunities and new applications across departments
- Develop and execute change management strategies appropriate for government organizational cultures, including Train the Trainer programs and Center of Excellence development
- Serve as the customer's thought partner, sharing Anthropic's product roadmap and engaging product PMs
- Document and quantify value realized through mission impact outcomes, operational efficiency gains, and ROI metrics
- Own the customer experience across their lifecycle, managing account and success plans, conducting Executive Business Reviews, and acting as primary conduit between the customer and Anthropic
- Partner with Applied AI team members embedded in accounts to identify hero workflows that demonstrate mission transformation
