This role is for a Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of dLocal’s Settlements product, overseeing end-to-end settlement experience across multiple currencies, models, and regulatory requirements. The position is remote‑first, part of an international team of over 1000 teammates, offering flexible schedules, learning and language classes, referral bonuses and other perks.

Requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech, or financial operations

Skills

  • Experience in settlements, fund movements (cross‑border, local, FX), treasury, or reconciliation
  • Designing and delivering automated, scalable products
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with large datasets to identify patterns, gaps, and opportunities
  • Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, especially with engineering, treasury, finance, and compliance
  • Proven ability to prioritize and deliver high‑impact product changes in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear requirements and merchant‑facing documentation

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive Settlements' product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with company goals and merchant needs.
  • Own the end-to-end settlement experience: from real‑time balance calculation to withdrawal requests, fund transfers, and settlement reporting.
  • Partner with engineering to deliver scalable, reliable, and automated settlement flows, supporting multiple currencies, settlement models, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Treasury and Finance to automate settlement operations, reduce manual intervention, and ensure accurate, timely fund disbursement.
  • Work with Compliance to ensure settlement processes meet local and cross‑border regulatory standards, including reporting and safeguarding requirements.
  • Engage with merchant‑facing teams to understand pain points, gather feedback, and deliver clear, actionable settlement reporting and dashboards.
  • Monitor and analyze settlement performance metrics (e.g., settlement speed, error rates, reconciliation gaps), driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead migration initiatives to new balance and settlement systems, ensuring minimal merchant disruption and clear communication.
  • Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies impacting settlements in emerging markets.
