Senior Software Engineer

Engineering at Nubank focuses on horizontally scalable microservices written mostly in Clojure, using Finagle and functional programming techniques with hexagonal architecture. High throughput jobs and inter-service communication use Kafka; continuous integration and deployment are into AWS; data is stored in Datomic and DynamoDB; monitoring and observability rely on Prometheus; and operations run in Kubernetes. The team values process-light organization, small independent teams, and human interactions. The role requires working with large scale distributed systems, collaborating on microservices, having practical knowledge of agile software development, and working with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
