We are looking for a Software Engineer III to join our App team and work closely with front‑end developers to build the next generation of backend services to support our growing business and new products. The role is fully remote and based in Brazil.

Requirements

Education

  • BS in Computer Science
  • Software Engineering
  • Related field or equivalent experience

Experience

  • 4+ years of backend software development experience
  • Proven success building and supporting scalable APIs, services, or applications

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, test, and deploy high-volume backend services with high SLAs
  • Ensure scalability and maintainability through microservices, decoupled architectures, queuing, and containerized deployments
  • Enhance CI/CD pipelines for safe, automated, and reliable releases
  • Monitor and optimize performance for responsiveness and throughput
  • Refactor and architect system components for optimal performance and reuse
  • Participate in peer reviews, design discussions, and contribute to automated test suites
  • Provide technical insights in planning and review to streamline delivery
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond quickly to incidents
  • Assist in gathering requirements and ensuring alignment from design through verification
