As the Strategy & Operations Business Partner for AAI AMER, you'll work side‑by‑side with regional field engineering leadership as a deep expert in the business: the metrics, the segments, the deals, and the trends that matter most to driving growth.

Skills

  • Background in sales strategy, revenue operations, or management consulting, including direct experience in a commercial role (presales, customer-facing, partnerships, and founder experience can all qualify)
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a track record of converting data into actionable, well-supported recommendations
  • Experience with GTM systems and business intelligence tools
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Experience designing and managing strategic planning processes and business reviews
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

  • Partner with AAI AMER leadership to build and evolve foundational metrics dashboards, and establish the operating rhythm for ongoing business reviews
  • Lead the monthly business review process for your assigned segment(s) — from metric gathering through analysis and synthesis for leadership
  • Partner with central Revenue Operations to define and standardize key metrics across segments as the business grows in complexity
  • Develop a use case framework grounded in real signal — current CRM data, joining sales calls and pitch clinics, reviewing key customers, and working directly with the AAI team
  • Build comprehensive segment analyses and strategy recommendations, identifying quick wins and prioritization frameworks, and help kick off the strategic initiatives that follow from approved recommendations
  • Build strong relationships with regional leaders and act as a trusted, embedded thought partner
  • Support GTM QBRs and related cross-functional workstreams as needed
  • Design and implement improved processes for tracking and reporting on team priorities and strategic initiatives, and represent that work to stakeholders across the company
