We are seeking a Senior Front‑end Web Developer B. to join a fast‑paced team building highly scalable web‑based eCommerce applications. This role focuses on delivering robust, performant front‑end experiences using React, Next.js, strong HTML/CSS, Browser APIs and modern JavaScript (ES6), while collaborating across development, operations and product teams. You will work in a distributed, cloud‑based environment leveraging AWS services and work end‑to‑end from design and implementation through release management and production troubleshooting. The position is well‑suited for engineers with a DevOps mindset who enjoy solving problems, driving releases, and improving delivery quality, and who can operate with a strong ownership mindset and limited day‑to‑day supervision.

Requirements

Skills

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong senior-level front-end development experience.
  • Proficient with React and Next.js, and in-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS and Browser APIs.
  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) and Node.js.
  • Experience working in a distributed cloud-based environment with AWS technologies such as S3, ECS, EC2, Lambda, ALB, Route53 and CloudFormation.
  • Prior experience designing and implementing highly scalable web-based eCommerce applications.
  • Experience with CDN and caching technologies.
  • DevOps mentality with practical experience in CD/CI and following code through production operation and troubleshooting releases.
  • Track record of solving problems and delivering results in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Hands‑on experience working in an AI-native development environment, proactively leveraging AI‑assisted development tools as part of the software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Spec‑Driven Development, including the ability to work from clear technical specifications and translate requirements into production‑ready implementations.
  • Strong ownership mindset and demonstrated ability to operate as a self‑starter with limited day‑to‑day supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas and influence stakeholders, with particular emphasis on clear, proactive asynchronous communication within distributed teams.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience participating in sprint planning, technical design breakdowns, and scrum ceremonies.
  • Courage and curiosity to verbally engage within team settings during Scrum ceremonies.
  • Experience participating in regular code reviews and ensuring code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Experience managing software releases and ensuring smooth and controlled deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement responsive, accessible front‑end features using React, HTML, CSS and Browser APIs.
  • Develop client‑side logic and integrations using modern JavaScript (ES6) and Node.js where required.
  • Build and maintain components and pages for scalable web‑based eCommerce applications.
  • Collaborate with backend, QA and product teams to break down stories into technical tasks and plan sprints.
  • Participate actively in scrum ceremonies and engage in technical discussions with curiosity and clarity.
  • Conduct and participate in regular code reviews to ensure code quality, performance and standards adherence.
  • Manage and execute release processes to ensure smooth, controlled deployments.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, follow code through production operation, and resolve post‑release problems.
  • Implement and optimize CDN and caching strategies to improve performance.
  • Work within a distributed cloud environment using AWS services and related infrastructure.
  • Solve problems and deliver results in a fast‑paced, ever‑evolving environment.
