Skills
- 5-7+ years of hands‑on IT support experience, ideally in a fast‑paced or high‑growth environment
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help people solve problems
- Strong troubleshooting skills, methodical, curious, and persistent
- Experience supporting macOS endpoints and comfortable with ChromeOS, iOS, and Android
- Significant experience with Google Workspace administration
- Experience with Slack administration, including workspace management, permissions, and troubleshooting
- Substantial experience supporting and administering additional SaaS tools
- Knowledge of identity and access fundamentals—SSO, MFA, and directory services
- Familiarity with MDM fundamentals and endpoint management concepts
- Experience with basic scripting in Bash or Python for automation
- Ownership mindset—follow through until resolution
- Analytical thinking beyond immediate fixes; ask “why did this happen?” and “how do we prevent it?”
- Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities
- Proactive in proposing solutions for scalable processes
- Desire to develop deeper technical skills and tackle complex systems administration challenges over time
- Familiarity with zero‑trust security concepts and endpoint security tooling
- Experience with networking basics—DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and networking fundamentals
- Experience contributing to IT projects beyond day‑to‑day support (migrations, tool rollouts, process redesigns)
- Experience using AI tools to improve personal or team productivity
Responsibilities
- Triaging and resolving hardware, software, networking, and account issues via ticketing system, Slack, and in‑person
- Diagnosing and resolving issues across macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and core SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Atlassian)
- Troubleshooting device issues including enrollment, configuration profiles, and policy enforcement
- Supporting access management and employee lifecycle workflows (onboarding, offboarding, reorgs)
- Handling escalations that require cross‑team coordination
- Participating in an on‑call rotation for urgent issues outside business hours
- Providing hands‑on support for user technology, AV systems, conference rooms, and printers
- Communicating clearly with users at all technical levels
- Writing and maintaining internal documentation such as runbooks, how‑to guides, and knowledge‑base articles
- Identifying patterns in support requests to surface recurring issues and opportunities for automation or systemic solutions
- Helping streamline onboarding and other high‑volume operations as the company scales
- Contributing to automation efforts
- Maintaining and improving device management, identity, and access systems
- Assisting with scripting (Bash, Python) to automate repetitive tasks
