As an Applied AI Architect at Anthropic, you will act as a Pre‑Sales architect and trusted technical advisor for large enterprises, helping them understand the value of Claude, develop evaluation frameworks, and design scalable architectures. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, guiding customers from initial technical discovery through successful deployment while maintaining high standards for safety and reliability.

Requirements

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager
  • Native or C1 German speaker
  • Native or C1 French speaker
  • Fluent English proficiency
  • Experience working with enterprise customers and navigating complex buying cycles
  • Exceptional ability to build relationships with C-suite executives, engineering & IT teams, and other stakeholders
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating with enterprise systems
  • Comfortable with Python
  • Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools or a background in machine learning or data science
  • Passion for safe and beneficial AI systems

Responsibilities

  • Partner with account executives to deeply understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor throughout customers’ Claude adoption journey
  • Support customers building with both the Claude API and Claude for Work
  • Create and deliver compelling technical content for diverse audiences
  • Guide technical architecture decisions and help customers integrate Claude effectively
  • Help customers develop evaluation frameworks to measure Claude’s performance
  • Identify common integration patterns and contribute insights to Product and Engineering teams
  • Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops, technical deep dives, and relationship building
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the latest LLM capabilities and implementation patterns
