Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering
  • equivalent experience

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer delivering production-grade applications
  • Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining REST APIs (Java + Spring Boot strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs and building secure, robust endpoints
  • Experience in performance optimization, scalability, and clean code practices

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs for our platform and clients
  • Integrate with partner systems (ATS, HRIS, background check providers, etc.) using REST APIs and webhooks
  • Build and launch fraud detection products and features
  • Enhance internal tools and client-facing interfaces
  • Improve performance, scalability, and maintainability across our stack
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions
