We are hiring a Backend Software Engineer Manager for the CARE area in Brazil. The role is remote and focuses on building and maintaining a comprehensive database of partner information, including data acquisition, enrichment, and transformation into actionable insights. Responsibilities include web crawling, OCR, third-party API integration, data processing, testing, API development, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and fostering a supportive work environment. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, experience managing teams, strong programming skills in Python, Kotlin, or Go, and expertise with SQL/NoSQL, message queues, and API integration.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Experience in managing teams (1:1, performance cycle, etc)
  • Experience with API development and integration
  • Experience working with SQL/NoSQL technologies (e.g., OpenSearch, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with message queues & async processing (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
