The SMSF Association is the peak professional body for Australia’s self-managed superannuation sector. We’re on the lookout for an experienced Digital & Marketing Specialist to help us grow our national impact and deliver outstanding value to our members. This is a mid-level specialist role where you’ll take ownership of integrated campaigns, content development, and digital engagement that drives member acquisition, retention, and event participation. What you’ll do: Lead end-to-end marketing campaigns (planning, execution, optimisation, reporting). Develop engaging content across digital, social, print, and events. Use CRM and automation tools to deliver segmented, impactful campaigns. Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver on strategic goals. Drive event marketing for our flagship National Conference, Technical Days, and community events. Enhancing tracking metrics to refine and improve campaign performance.
What you’ll bring: Essential: 3–5+ years’ marketing or communications experience. Proven track record running integrated campaigns. Strong copywriting and content creation skills. Proficiency with CRM systems and/or marketing automation. Familiarity with WordPress and Google Analytics 4. Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop) or equivalent. Confident in using analytics to track, report and improve outcomes.
Desirable: Experience in a membership or not-for-profit environment.
