Part-time, remote Education Programme Internship within Save the Children International's multi-donor funded Education Consortium. Unpaid, 10 hours per week from October 2025 to February 2026, with possibility to extend up to one year. Interns will contribute to education programming, research, and technical support, supporting capacity building, education research, and technical program support. The role is fully remote and requires participation in virtual team meetings during Asia-based working hours. Candidates should be undergraduate or graduate students in international development, education, political science, or related fields, fluent in English, with strong writing, editing, proofreading, interpersonal and cultural sensitivity skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively across time zones, and interest in Myanmar education context.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting background research on education themes such as curriculum development, teacher training, inclusive education, and multilingual education in emergencies.
  • Supporting the development of learning materials, training guides, internal policies, and technical documents.
  • Assisting in organizing knowledge-sharing activities such as online forums, symposiums, and learning exchanges.
  • Contributing to cross-cutting initiatives like GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion) and Child Safeguarding, including capacity-building activities.
  • Proofreading and editing reports, presentations, and manuals to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Supporting knowledge management efforts through internal documentation and collaborative tools.
  • Additional tasks based on the intern’s interests, background, and evolving program needs.
