The Senior DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of Bunge's technology infrastructure. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain DevOps processes and tools, and will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Bunge's technology operations.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering
  • Experience with leading teams and managing projects

Skills

  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket or Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of infrastructure management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Solid experience with containerization such as Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
  • Solid knowledge about security aspects in cloud and on-premise
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure where GCP is preferred
  • Experience with monitoring software such as Datadog, Zabbix, Kibana
  • Infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or CloudFormation (IaaC)
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Languages

  • English (very good)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of DevOps processes and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that code is released frequently and reliably, and that deployments are smooth and efficient.
  • Work with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure that the underlying infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, reduce lead times, and improve the overall efficiency of Bunge's technology operations.
  • Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, including servers, networks, and cloud environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest DevOps trends and technologies, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Use knowledge of Bunge’s business, structure and strategy to develop innovative solutions to improve results or eliminate problems.
  • Build partnerships, appropriately influence to gain commitment, foster talent and coach others to grow in current or future roles.
  • Drive results through high standards, focus on key priorities, organization, and preparing others for change.
