Itaú, a leading Brazilian bank, is seeking an Especialista II – Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) for its Command Center in São Paulo. The role involves leading reliability initiatives, managing incidents, driving automation, and integrating AI for operational excellence.

Requisitos

Habilidades

  • Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and in Command Centers, NOCs or Operation Centers
  • Deep knowledge and proven experience in software lifecycle stages
  • Solid knowledge in infrastructure and Cloud AWS
  • Fluent English for war room leadership and technical meetings
  • Knowledge of observability, monitoring and incident management
  • Knowledge in automation using languages such as Python, Shell Script or similar
  • Knowledge in distributed architecture, microservices and critical systems
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with container platforms and orchestration
  • Knowledge in AI applied to operations, observability and automation

Responsabilidades

  • Lead problem resolution stemming from the software development lifecycle with engineering, architecture, platform and operations teams to drive continuous improvement
  • Conduct management of critical incidents, contributing to impact reduction, MTTR and recurrence
  • Act as a reliability reference for a specific BU, developing deep knowledge of its critical services
  • Map risks, fragilities and improvement opportunities through SRE pillars
  • Identify and drive initiatives to increase availability, stability, performance and resilience of systems
  • Define, monitor and evolve reliability metrics such as SLIs, SLOs and Error Budgets
  • Lead root cause analysis and structured remediation plans for recurring problems
  • Promote automation adoption to reduce manual operational toil and increase efficiency
  • Explore and implement AI and AIOps solutions for incident prevention, detection and resolution
  • Develop a preventive operational vision, anticipating risks before they impact customers and business
