We are recruiting Junior Backend Software Developers to join our office in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division. The role focuses on developing and maintaining cloud-based Python applications, supporting Azure cloud solutions, and learning cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and modern development tools. Responsibilities include designing and developing Python-based services, collaborating with senior developers, architects, and stakeholders, configuring and deploying cloud resources, ensuring security and compliance, troubleshooting application issues, and contributing to continuous learning and innovation. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Python, basic cloud concepts, familiarity with Git and CI/CD, and willingness to learn containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Strong foundation in Python programming
  • Basic understanding of cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Python-based applications and services
  • Support implementation of cloud solutions under guidance of senior team members
  • Learn to design scalable and secure systems using cloud-native services

  • Translate technical and functional needs into working solutions
  • Gain experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and support configuration and deployment of managed services
  • Assist in setup and monitoring of cloud resources, learning best practices for reliability and performance
  • Learn cloud security principles and contribute to ensuring compliance
  • Follow development and deployment guidelines to ensure safe and maintainable code
  • Stay curious and continuously grow skills in cloud computing, DevOps, and software development
  • Participate in internal training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and code reviews
  • Help troubleshoot application issues and support cloud operations under supervision
  • Contribute to incident management and improve monitoring and automation
