As a Network Deployment and Maintenance Lead within Anthropic’s Data Center Operations (DCO) organization, you will ensure the network inside our data halls is brought online and kept healthy across a growing fleet of partner‑operated data centers. You will manage network deployment and repair programs, coordinate with vendors and on‑site teams, and drive continuous improvement of operational processes. The role requires extensive experience in large‑scale data center networking, strong technical depth, and the ability to travel heavily to support site operations.

Skills
- 8+ years of experience in data center operations or network deployment as a manager, technical lead or related role
- Proven track record leading data center network deployments at a large scale across multiple sites
- Experience running break‑fix or repair programs for network hardware, including ticket flow, RMA, and spares
- Hands‑on technical depth in data center networking, including switches, structured cabling, fiber, and optics
- Experience building or substantially improving operational processes
- Comfortable working with schedule, ticket, telemetry, and inventory data to drive decisions
- Ability to travel heavily and work on site for extended stretches (50% travel expected)
- Bachelor's degree in relevant domain or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
- Own network deployment outcomes for assigned sites and data‑hall waves, ensuring on‑time delivery and acceptance
- Engage from construction kickoff to confirm network readiness and coordinate with site operations and facilities
- Be on site during key network delivery stages to validate work and support teams
- Validate handover gates, including cabling, link validation, acceptance criteria, documentation, spares, and ticketing
- Own the network repair program across the fleet, managing SLAs, prioritization, and escalation paths
- Manage RMA and spares with vendors, ensuring timely warranty claims and availability
- Lead operating cadence with partner site leads, conducting reviews, analyzing failures, and driving corrective actions
- Turn lessons into program standards, procedures, checklists, and metrics, and communicate status and risks to stakeholders
