Alongside Anthropic’s model releases, this role ships a steady stream of product launches across the portfolio—including Claude, Claude Code, and the developer platform—bringing product, engineering, policy, legal, communications, sales, and marketing together. The Product Marketing Operations Manager is the central organizer of the launch process, building and running the operating system behind it: the launch calendar, the plan of record for every deliverable, the review path for launch materials, and execution on launch day. They treat the launch process itself as a product, driving adoption through influence, focusing on the team’s top priorities, and keeping the rest running on scalable systems.

Requirements

Skills

  • Owned launch or release operations end to end, accountable for launches landing on time and in good shape
  • Built or substantially improved a launch or release process
  • Treat process as a product – care about adoption and measure it
  • Background in product marketing, product operations, technical program management, or launch production
  • Ability to keep a complex plan coherent as priorities and timelines shift
  • Effective at driving decisions across senior stakeholders without direct authority
  • Technical background with ability to understand and communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Write clearly, produce launch-ready material
  • Energetic about ambiguity and moving fast in a rapidly evolving market
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as one of the core organizers of the product launch process end to end: collaborating with peers across product, operations, and GTM
  • Own the product launch calendar and sequencing across a broad portfolio of releases — products, solutions, and programs — prioritizing your time against the team's top priorities and coordinating timing with partner teams across marketing, product, and communications
  • Own the plan of record for each launch, like deliverables, owners, dependencies, and deadlines, and surface risks early enough to act on them
  • Own the path launch materials take through review, partnering with legal, policy, product, and communications so reviews happen in the right sequence against dates people can plan to
  • Drive decisions and alignment across senior cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
  • Own launch-day execution: sequencing, timing, access, and the operational readiness of everything that goes live together
  • Own the internal resources our field teams reach for first, along with the operational side of enablement, including scheduling, speakers, and materials logistics
  • Develop and improve launch processes, playbooks, and operational frameworks that scale beyond any one launch
  • Own launch retrospectives, recurring product communications, and — when volume requires it — launch materials themselves
