Senior Front-end Engineer – Angular – Finance market. US Company | Small (11-50 employees), LATAM (100% Remote). 7+ years of frontend development experience, including 3+ years in a Senior or Lead role. This is a contract role, long-term (12+ months) with 40h weekly in the first 3 months and 30h weekly thereafter. Responsibilities include leading development and ownership of the frontend for a SaaS loan processing platform, defining technical direction, building responsive interfaces for banks, assessing Angular stack, managing GitLab codebase, applying UX/UI skills, ensuring performance, accessibility, integrating APIs, and introducing new frameworks and practices. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and ownership of the frontend for our SaaS loan processing platform
  • Define technical direction, make architectural decisions, and align the frontend with business requirements
  • Build responsive, modern, and user-friendly interfaces for banks and financial institutions
  • Assess the current Angular stack and decide on migration or adoption of new frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
  • Manage and maintain the existing codebase hosted on GitLab
  • Apply UX/UI skills to improve initial designs and later collaborate with a dedicated specialist
  • Ensure applications are performant, accessible, and meet web standards
  • Integrate APIs and deliver complete features in close collaboration with backend engineers
  • Introduce new frameworks, tools, and practices to drive innovation and development quality
