Anthropic is building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems and seeks a Lease Admin to own the operational layer of its Compute Infrastructure lease portfolio, including data centers, co-location facilities, and GPU/TPU equipment finance leases. The role sits in Infrastructure Compute Procurement, partners closely with the Infrastructure Accounting team, and ensures clean data, accurate billing, and timely payments. The position supports a hybrid work model across San Francisco and Seattle offices and requires a blend of lease administration expertise, financial acumen, and experience in high‑growth tech environments.

Skills

  • Experience implementing or operating an LMS (CoStar, Workday Lease, or equivalent)
  • Sharp eye for billing errors and ability to back them up with lease language
  • Familiarity with ASC 842 to support an accounting team
  • AP process fluency – understanding of payments, POs, and GL coding
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, technical environment with hyperscalers and hardware vendors
  • Prior work in a SOX-compliant environment with documented lease controls
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
  • 10+ years of lease administration experience spanning data center/colo, equipment, or multi-category real estate portfolios
  • Direct experience with data center or colo lease operations
  • Workday Financials / Workday Lease experience
  • Experience with AI tools (preferably Claude) for automation, reporting, and efficiency
  • Experience in a high-growth tech company where the portfolio grew faster than the process
  • Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, such as GPU clusters

Responsibilities

  • Lease abstraction and system data hygiene – ingest new leases and amendments into the LMS with clean, complete data; maintain the record of truth across all portfolio categories
  • Critical-date tracking and routing – monitor renewal windows, option deadlines, and notice periods; flag and route decisions to the right stakeholders with enough lead time to act
  • Landlord billing audits – review landlord invoices against lease terms, dispute errors, and reconcile CAM charges across the co-location and real estate portfolio
  • Rent payment processing and AP coding – ensure rent and lease payments are processed accurately and on time; maintain correct GL coding at the source
  • Landlord billing ops and payment escalations – manage payment workflows and elevate commercial disputes to the appropriate Infra or Workplace relationship owner
  • Lease system data stewardship and Workday integration – keep the LMS in sync with Workday/ERP
  • Support the accounting team's close cycle with clean subledger data and timely inputs
