Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using FastAPI to power clinical and lab data systems.
  • Build dynamic, intuitive, and accessible frontend interfaces using ReactJS for pathologists and lab staff.
  • Develop robust data pipelines and integrate MongoDB for both structured and unstructured medical data storage.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, pathologists, and UX designers to deliver AI‑powered clinical decision support tools.
  • Ensure all systems are HIPAA‑compliant and meet SOC 2 Type II standards for security and reliability.
  • Participate in Agile sprints, contribute to code reviews, and support continuous integration and delivery workflows.
  • Maintain high availability and scalability in clinical environments, leveraging AWS services when needed.
  • Write thorough unit and integration tests for backend and frontend components.
  • Contribute to system architecture discussions, technical documentation, and overall product strategy.
