Pipefy is looking for a Software Engineer (NodeJS) to join its distributed team. The role focuses on building and maintaining backend services that power the platform’s workflow automation solutions. The engineer will design, develop, and test new features, collaborate on cross‑language services, and continually improve performance and reliability. With a strong emphasis on clean code, best practices, and team knowledge sharing, the engineer will help drive product excellence while working remotely from Brazil.

Requirements

Experience

  • Familiarity with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Good knowledge and/or experience with Node.js
  • Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming
  • Effective collaboration with the team, pairing, and continuous improvement of team processes

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features from conception to maintenance, and improve existing ones.
  • Work primarily with Node.js and collaborate on services built with Ruby on Rails, Python, and other technologies as needed.
  • Help improve components’ performance, scalability, and reliability so that Pipefy is always available and at the top of its game.
  • Work with the Product Development team to identify solutions for customer problems and bring them to life.
  • Actively contribute to the technical design of features.
  • Share knowledge with the team and promote continuous learning.
  • Work to improve the quality of the design and code of the team’s systems.
