Metabase is looking for a customer‑focused Technical Success Coordinator to join our growing global, fully remote team. The role focuses on communicating with enterprise customers, tracking issues, sharing feedback with the product and engineering teams, and maintaining internal tools and the CRM system.

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Solid organization and project management skills
  • Strong technical fundamentals across databases, software development, cloud computing, and analytics
  • Understanding of database principles (normalization, data integrity, SQL)
  • Knowledge of core data warehousing strategies
  • Best practices for data visualization
  • Foundational web application architecture concepts
  • Familiarity with data visualization or data analytics tools
  • Experience with Metabase or other BI tools (nice to have)
  • Experience working for an open source product (nice to have)
  • Fluency in multiple languages (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored communication plans for enterprise customers, including scheduling regular touchpoints, trainings, and ad-hoc meetings.
  • Attend meetings to track requested and pending issues, understand customer use cases and requirements, and document detailed, insightful reports in the product's issue tracking repository.
  • Summarize meetings, providing necessary follow-ups to internal teams and customers.
  • Share technical insights and critical feedback gathered during meetings with the product team to help shape future versions of Metabase.
  • Maintain and introduce internal tools.
  • Manage and enrich the customer relationship management (CRM) system with detailed technical insights.
