As a Senior Recruiting Coordinator at Anthropic, you will own end‑to‑end coordination and serve as the subject matter expert on pipeline health and capacity. You will supervise scheduling automation, decide when a candidate needs a human touch, partner directly with recruiters, sourcers, and recruiting managers to drive process improvements, and lead coordination projects. The role requires 4+ years of recruiting coordination experience, fluency with AI tools, strong partnership and communication skills, and a genuine interest in Anthropic’s AI safety mission.

  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, with demonstrated experience in high-volume complex scheduling environments
  • Hands‑on fluency with AI tools in daily work and the judgment to know when to trust or override outputs
  • Proven ability to own and improve processes, with examples of leading projects or initiatives that drove measurable impact
  • Strong partnership skills with recruiters, sourcers, and hiring managers as a collaborative, trusted advisor
  • Excellent judgment and the ability to make independent decisions on scheduling changes and prioritization
  • Clear, professional communication skills with a talent for keeping multiple stakeholders aligned
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Run scheduling tools, set them up, check output, and decide when a human intervention is needed
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on the pod's pipeline and capacity, surfacing bottlenecks and recommending moves
  • Own high‑stakes scheduling scenarios—changes, cancellations, and rescheduling decisions—independently while keeping stakeholders informed
  • Own the escalation path, flag patterns, and drive resolution with the manager’s support
  • Lead projects end to end, from problem definition to adopted solution
  • Coordinate coverage across the pod during absences and surges so candidates never feel a gap
  • Maintain a high‑touch, warm candidate experience, including recovery when automation fails
