- Build and maintain core infrastructure that powers Anthropic’s engineering organization, including service mesh, observability systems, deployment pipelines, and shared libraries.
- Develop and manage platform portability infrastructure to enable operation across multiple cloud providers, focusing on cloud‑agnostic tooling, cross‑cloud networking, and multi‑region deployments.
- Own connectivity solutions such as the MCP proxy, OAuth and token management, and maintain official Python and TypeScript SDKs.

- Create and run secure execution environments behind Claude’s agentic capabilities, ensuring safe, fast, and reliable untrusted code execution.
- Ensure platform serving by enabling secure access to proprietary data and integrating state‑of‑the‑art retrieval technologies for developers.
- Build infrastructure and APIs that enable developers to create agentic applications within the Claude API.
- Transform the Claude API into a cloud‑native, managed product that runs wherever customers need it, across multiple clouds and Anthropic’s own infrastructure.
- Develop identity and verification systems to enable safe model launches, supporting KYC/KYB, and integrating with cross‑team policy and security functions.
